For 20+ years we had the Taliban on the run.
Afghanis were building schools, hospitals & democratic institutions.
Then Trump undermined their government by freeing 5000+ Taliban and ordering our withdrawal.
We gave them a glimmer of hope. Then we took it away.
Some of us now know how it feels.
