Lovely. I stopped being an active gardner when I sprayed an entire flower bed with weedkiller instead of greenfly repellant :(

Doesn't seem to have changed much from when my dentist gave me cocaine injections. Painful. Birmingham, UK, late 1950s-early 1960s.

Unexpectedly flew on of Air France's early -B2s, LHR to CDG. One of the first flights, mid-70s. Lovely breakfast of coffee and croissants, and a very nice 'new aeroplane' smell.

I much prefer being out and about in a (windless) icy day, rather than a hot and humid day.
Although, freezing fog and -2 causing minor havoc at my local airport, Norwich.
