Another day, another trip to the fire ground. Incredibly fortunate that the bushfire yesterday was contained so quickly and hugely thankful for the air support we received. 3 bombers and 2 choppers! Stay safe this fire 🔥 season!

Had a really fun morning with my bushfire brigade colleagues dressing as Santa to deliver sweets to the local kids. I hope they enjoyed seeing Santa on his fire truck! 🔥🚒🎅

Had to get a cherry picker this weekend to install a fan on our dome. Thought the view would be good from its highest point……wasn’t wrong! Also had a beautiful feathered friend pay a visit - a splendid fairywren. I think I need to invest in a proper camera! #justanotherdayinwa

It’s #justanotherdayinwa but one of my favourites of the year as hundreds of champions descend on Busselton for Ironman WA. Such a lovely event with a great South West vibe. I’ve not done this race since 2018 but the familiar itch is returning….
Turnaround point of the triathlon swim at Ironman WA. Described as an Australian exit as athletes exit the water and run round the beach before entering for the second lap watched on by a large crowd. Athletes swimming out to start their second lap of the Ironman WA swim. The four turrets of the iconic Busselton Jetty and waves in the ocean on Ironman WA day 2024. The red carpet finish line of Ironman WA. Ronda watch from behind barriers and athletes run down the chute created to the finish line.
