There's something interesting here, where I can obviously see this is way more visually consistent and intentional than previous AI ads, yet somehow looks even more uncanny than ever?

I don't know whether to take that as a an encouraging sign or an ill omen.

I mean, its not my favorite, you can tell it was made on a shorter time table than Del Toro's usual. The sets are good, but not as meticulous as usual.

But the imagery and colors are ethereal, the performances are good, and its a very faithful adaption

Abysmal dogshit? Surely you're baiting

Very cool.

If you could control it on a spatial level, you could make it so that it only gets more intense when it would fit the local style best.

In general, being able to granularly control these more systemic effects will allow you to tailor scenes to specific looks, methinks

The name should have been:

Bunlith: This Anime Does Not Exist: The Witch Up Stairs: This Anime Does Exist

Anything less is akin to historical revisionism

Yeah, there's nothing stopping it from happening, except for whats stopping it from happening lmao

It DOES feel like sentiment is shifting though. Even some basically suburban hermits i know are warming to the idea that maybe, we'd be better off with less cars everywhere, all the time, always.

I have long thought that some transit people are a little too hard on suburbs. After suburbs themselves have a wide variety in densities, and there's little reason why suburbs couldn't support public transit, internal business AND private car ownership. It just takes policy and planning

I really loved CrossCode, but the MMO conceit never grabbed me, and ive got quibbles about some specific stuff around itemization

The Alabaster Dawn demo was absolutely incredible, enough so that I'll likely buy early access just to wait for full release.

Your glowing recc, Jason, got me into it
