Rock type trainers often get stereotyped as weak because we tend to hold low ranks in our leagues. What they don't realize is that most of us are just sturdy in our abilities and don't need to showboat, vying for the top slot, and would prefer to be a useful stepping stone for a new generation.

To be fair, Grusha has family in Sinnoh so it's not like he came all that way just for the Museum but I know it was a highlight.

I know this is probably a goof, but being placement 1 is a very important role, you set the standard for most trainers going through your league on what the benchmark of a gym battle should look like, and I hope you are treated with the importance you deserve by your colleagues.

I still cannot believe they all thought I didn't know what a plate is. Most of the deciphered plates in Sinnohs collection over the last decade and a half have been from my excavations.

It might be nice to be later in the league, and I'm sure Dawn would give the okay if I asked, but I've managed just fine for over a decade so I don't think about it too hard. Besides, everyone else has other jobs too.
