A boar head tureen with a base resembling a bed of lettuce. This one’s lid is at the crown of the skull, between the ears. The expression on this one is really funny. It does not look amused to be full of soup. Two tureens, presumably from the same maker. Both have limited brown and tan color schemes. One resembles a deer head. The other is a boar head with an apple in its mouth. Both look very lively. This tureen is an Italian make and very handsome! It wears a peaceful, confident expression with almost doe-like black eyes. The nose is a soft pink that is well-blended into its light grey/tan fur. This tureen is a modern make. It’s glazed entirely white and has a handle on top fashioned after an oak branch. The boar itself looks more bovine. The lid is made up of the entire top jaw, eyes, ears and skull. The details are so intricate and thin that I’d be worried about chipping it when placing the lid on.

It’s not fair that I should be poor just as I’m finding out that there are soup dishes made in the likeness of severed boar heads.

Die Dreigroschenoper or The Threepenny Opera is a 1928 musical satirizing the dark machinations of finance capital and bougie life in the Weimar Republic. It was, naturally, banned. It had a revival I would not like to see replicated but its memory evokes the tenacity of human expression.

Wolf Von Eckardt described the 1945 performance where audience members climbed over ruins and passed through a tunnel to reach the open-air auditorium deprived of its ceiling. In addition to the smell of dead bodies trapped beneath the rubble, Eckardt recollects the actors themselves were "haggard, starved, [and] in genuine rags. Many of the actors ... had only just been released from concentration camp. They sang not well, but free."[37] Barrie Kosky produced the work again at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm in 2021.[38] The production travelled to the Ruhrfestspiele in 2022,[39] the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam,[40] Teatro Argentina, Rome,[41] the Edinburgh International Festival in 2023,[42] to the 2024 Adelaide Festival[43] and the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 2025.[44]

This is troubling. Correct me if I'm wrong and I'll delete, but... this kind of thing doesn't happen - in the fast-paced industry of tv animation and especially with South Park, the show that famously pumps out episodes within a week (See: "Six Days to Air") and has been on wheels for two decades.
