3) FUN FONTS WAAHHHHHHH MAN I LOVE FONTS! I won’t spoil them all, but there are some funky font choices littered throughout the pages to liven up the story, from poster titles to ceremonial plaques. I hope you’ll enjoy them too!

2) All the prayers in the book are accompanied by a lovely flower designed by Sam Gretton over at @solarisbooks.bsky.social—these flowers are meant to harken to the sort of geometric floral designs spotted all over Malaysia, from money envelopes (as pictured) to ceramic floor tiles.
