#WeekofWonders When my dear cat-friend Toonsis passed through the veil, we were devastated. He was a troubled cat, yet we loved him more than any other. We buried him in the yard; I put a cement block on his grave. This photo (I believe) shows his spirit visiting us as an orb.

My favorite time of the year! Halloween season...time to enjoy a Pina Colada at Trader Vic's. (My hair is perfect!) ;-D

Those stones are very different, but still address protection and grounding. I love all these!

Thank you, Gail! I love Johnny Cash too, as you can see! If you want to see more of his "mischief," I recommend watching the new biopic movie about Bob Dylan "A Complete Unknown."

Happy Diwali! Praise and love to Lakshmi, who lifts her lamp to guide our way. Image is from Thalia Took.

A few more pics. The one through the screen is a deer by the Maple tree my husband planted and near the filbert grove. The other pic shows wild turkeys, and Sir Everett, the cat's cat! Also some paths I like to walk, one with an Oak.

I thought I'd show you some of my Nature friends around my house. The first pic is a bowl of filberts that I picked from the grove that my husband planted. He planted one small bush, and now there are many many bushes, some as tall as trees.

I love this! It seems to be inspired by the art and writing of one of my favorite artists/writers, Alicia Bay Laurel! I greatly recommend her books:

Pittsburgh was where I was born and grew up, so I always feel "at home" there, even though I haven't lived there in a while. But I like to visit! (my photo!)
