Winter can be tough. The deep frost broke for a moment, the river is flowing, and migrant bald eagles are finding refuge in the windbreak of trees along the Clark Fork River, in the valley that once held Glacial Lake Missoula. I’m no birder, but they give me hope for a world that transcends borders
