Good win for the Strikers. Assured the final spot in the finals. It'll be a tough ask for them to win it all --- need to beat the Sixers, Scorchers and Heat (not necessarily in that order) and all away from home. A Strikers-Heat grand final would be fitting since their in-season match was abandoned.

Socceroos seem to be picking up their game against India in the Asian Cup. I've been watching for 15 minutes now and it's been all Australia. First goal shouldn't be far away.

Good result for the Strikers tonight with the Stars loss. Strikers are a good chance to beat the Thunder tomorrow at Canberra. If they do, they've made the finals, which seemed a longshot a week ago.

Took my daughter to see Wish today. Her second cinema experience (first was Elemental as part of a birthday party). Thought the movie was good after a slowish start. Some funny references to other Disney movies.
