Meh, I loved the book. Not a huge fan of musicals but enjoyed the play and my girlfriend loves the movies. They were ok, too much of the politics were lost in translation.

Try the Wicked book. Its way less musical and way more political. It really is a brilliant take on who controls and writes "history".

The movie was 2 hours but there was 45 min of trailers and commercials. Its ludicrous. Not to mention that damn AMC Nicole Kidman thing.

I'm in Tennessee, lucky to have any movies around here. I came from Colorado where I had 2 art houses, a stones throw away. Never get any limited releases either. 🙄
