Congress is an investment. You send who you can grow. The problem with Democrats broadly is most of those there are way beyond their prime, and their decision making reflects that in a negative way.

Nobody starts out as a powerful, fully effective Senator. It takes about 3 years for them to begin being proficient. My problem with Mills is that's basically halfway into what would likely be her only term. Platner, however, can do a few terms.
