To be entirely clear, I'm not even against AI in all aspects. It has its use-cases, and it clearly isnt going to go away. Art should NOT be the use-case. And absolutely not in the form generative AI exists in rn.

You can't just bs your way out of the fact that the vast, overwhelming and damn near definite majority of AI Models used for image generation are trained off crawling the internet for materials without consent. (2/3, overestimated the char limit)

You are ignoring the core reasoning against AI in art and its not "herd mentality artists whining their asses off" but that its fucking theft. IF, and only IF AI "artists" (choke on a dick and pick up a pencil.) can veritably prove they use an AI model that ONLY ethically sources its art, then (1/2)

The anti-AI people ARE often artists you utter clown. AI models are largely trained off of art without the artists explicit consent and as such are automatically theft. Even environmental concerns aside, that alone should give ANYONE pause in using AI for any creative projects especially.
