How symbolic, that upon submission of our multigroup Kitagawa-Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition to R / CRAN, the automated checks trip over Evelyn Kitagawa’s name, while the two men are just fine.

2.) We combined micro-level and macro-level policy data in comparative analysis of institutional context. This provides a stricter test of the policy mechanisms, and is more informative exactly how policies operate.

Last week I had the pleasure to evaluate Ognjen Zugic’s PhD thesis, titled “Labor market segmentation and the politics of investment and compensation”.
