Nice. I had no idea the horsehead was right there. Over Thanksgiving we went to Hocking Hills in SE Ohio and had a decent dark sky. Could see milky way some but half moon made it hard.

Very cool! Hudson Mills Park is significantly better than Indpendence lake where we were.

I'll have to check that out. I saw the aurora circles w 30 minute projections but not the numbers. Can you see well from your place? We drive ~30 minutes north. A former UM Pharmacology grad student who's on faculty now, lives right up there and she showed some amazing photos from 9:30.

We were out 8:30 to 9 and it was much less bright. A friend of mine out at 9:30 had much better viewing.
