Sleeping is overrated anyways.
For me it depends on if its a campaign for a world that I've created or if its a campaign that's a pre-written adventure.
But a good chunk of my planning is designing my PCs' minis based on whatever they provide me, figuring our what enemies/NPC minis I may need, and printing them.
