It’s the problem with modern journalism, in my view. We’ve become so concerned with objectivity, we sometimes remove humanity from the equation.

The women's game has exploded in recent years. Arenas are full. Ad revenue is up. TV contracts seem to be on the order of 100x higher. The value of teams has surged. And yet, the player salaries are still below (accounting for inflation) what the ABL offered 25+ years ago. That needs to change.
