I have long said just that, going so far as to make a citizenship and constitution test mandatory for all candidates, but alas every year I listen to these people and wonder what the hell happened to our educational system and standards

All those people who voted for Trump weren't listening. The Republican followers played it off to "it's just Trump being Trump." The Supreme Court turned a blind eye, and now the entire world will suffer because of the complete ignorance of the few.

I think that's a pretty hefty price to honor someone who is not worthy of any sort of respect. The best way to protest something like that is to make sure you are too busy that day to attend any parade.

I worry about that. Trump has his executive order on voting requirements. If he has his way, the only people eligible to vote would be his cult.

My father fought 3 wars to keep our democracy safe. As things stand right this moment, I can't recognize this nation anymore.

To be honest, I can't really blame them. I just feel so disgusted by our current government, and if I didn't live here, I would think twice about visiting.
