Great demonstration of how liberalism is less a political ideology and more a delusional pathology that allows its adherents to feel smug and self-righteous under any circumstances, like enabling a genocide then handing the keys over to fascists ahead of runaway climate collapse.

marx correctly understood capitalist democracy is a temporary, tenuous compromise won thru sacrifice/struggle, under constant renegotiation. he explains how this class struggle btwn two opposing forces (capital vs workers) w/ two opposing goals (fascism vs communism) is the primary engine of history

to me it's this is kind of dangerously misinformed thinking that got us here. marxism is esp now suppressed in this country precisely bc of its usefulness
marxism, ie dialectical materialism, is entirely sufficient to understand what's happening, how we got here, our heading, how we might change it
