This is a picture of an email sent to the Dean of Men at Hillsdale College. The text of the email is: I'm writing as someone raised in the Christian faith, and so I have some decent understanding of it. I am fairly confident that, based on my learnings, no Christian would celebrate the death of a child — indeed, I think we can both agree Jesus would have been comforting a child in danger, not taunting them. With that in mind, I wanted to call your attention to this content from a person who identifies themselves closely with Hillsdale. I will not link to it but the text of the post is "Emotional blackmail was defeated at the ballot box." He was replying to a post about the death of a child due to bullying about her immigration status. While our political views probably differ, I hope we can agree that this content is pretty plainly not in line with the teachings of Jesus. As the Dean of Men at Hillsdale, I hope you will take address this as a serious matter.
