My initial thought was, actually a "lost organ" sounds like a very serious mistake indeed. 🤣

@egonw.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy Hi, I'm not in the field, but I have read the letter and - previously - some cited references. It has support of some key experts (e.g. Trish Greenhalgh, Lidia Morawska). I personally advocate signing to reduce sickness absence and support clinically vulnerable.

I am very sorry to hear this. Postdoc-ing is tough at the best of times, let alone during this horror show. Best of luck finding the position you deserve soon!

Thanks for sharing Professor. I wonder if you have time to comment on this controversy, please? Some people seem to be spreading disinformation based on a questionable review. They refuse to believe Prof Veldhoen but might be more inclined to trust you? (marcveldhoen.substack.com/p/the-abuse-...)

Happy birthday. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you have friends to support you today. Here's a picture of a deer from England I took on my walk back from work.

Hi Professor Sridhar, Thanks - this looks great. I enjoyed Preventable. :) On a related topic, a recent Facebook post I saw shared this recent article to suggest that exercise has minimal health benefits. As a leading expert and PT, what's your take on this? pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...

@trishgreenhalgh.bsky.social Thanks for this. What's your view on the interaction I had with an NHS member of staff who challenged me wearing an FFP3 mask whilst taking my Dad to hospital? "Do you have hospital anxiety? You don't need to wear that as we're all screened and wouldn't work if sick."
