NoCal beaches have more rocks both large and small. The sand tends to be wet and more packed. SoCal has the warmth and soft dry sand. I love them both, I am lucky to have lived along the Pacific Coast throughout my life.

Tide out, sun out, time to get out of the house and enjoy the beach and cool air.

Small town living in California…pool under construction for improvements is fabulous but the three month wait during the rainy season is bumming me out

Oh so appropriate Christmas movie for the times we are living.

Bear is best boy for keeping me distracted from ruminating thoughts. He likes his walks, ball throwing and toy playing. He is the other part of my support system as we transition into the new year and presidency. I will not let the incoming cabinet ruin the next four years. Resist we must.

Smokey brings the calm. Living in soon to be turbulent times. Pet the kitty, pet the kitty, love on the kitty is how I soothe my mind and slow the chatter when I read about our possible future here in the US.

NoCal beaches are less crowded due to the colder weather but their beauty sure is worthy of a daily drive by and a pause to breathe in the calm.
