Tonight has me thinking about what could have been for a PWHL Takeover Tour game with the NY Sirens in Philly and the Kalty/Vladar Czech content we could have had.
The Sirens FINALLY break through the scoreless tie as Taylor Girard finishes a Maddi Wheeler effort.
I talked to Taylor at camp, and she was eager to establish herself early in her first full season with the Sirens.

I'm kind of iffy on that non-call since the Devils broadcast didn't show a full replay. He did get pushed & the aftermath looked more dangerous than the initial hit. I'm betting they would have done something if Sanheim hand't gotten up & been active in the play that led to the Devils goal.

For the Philly people, the Devils broadcast just threw up the "with Jack Hughes vs without Jack Hughes" graphic as some sort of explanation but NOT AN EXCUSE for this game so far.

Sirens Captain Micah Zandee Hart given a game misconduct for a cross check. Did not have that on my bingo card for GAME ONE of the season. We'll see if there's supplemental discipline after the game.

I spoke to Kalty following a Sirens preseason scrimmage about testing the waters so to speak to figure out the line on what the refs would call. That was some more data for her.
That one cost the Sirens a goal on the Ottawa power play.
