Protest and resistance are synonymous - seems like news to me. Obviously there’s no purely objective reporting, there are only principles that strive to maintain an observational perspective. I’m protective of that in a time when so much of the “news” tells people what to think not what happened.

I see the point. But reporting is necessarily in third person voice and I would not want it any other way. They are reporting on the views of others irrespective of agreement or disagreement. Anything else is opinion and editorial and belongs in those sections. Otherwise it’s not news, it’s opinion.
