Kirk’s a$$a$$ination was inexcusable and the killer should be brought to justice, but I will not say that part of me isn’t pleased that his rhetoric has been silenced. Inflammatory, hateful, and intentionally divisive speech may be protected by 1A, but that doesn’t mean it’s free from consequence.
