It's been 8 years in the making, but the metapoetic dictionary I contributed to is finally out! I wrote two entries (in English): one on bees/honey in Latin literature and one on nymphs in Greek and Latin literature. If you'd like PDFs of my entries, I'd be happy to share them!

New update! I'll be joining Colby's Classics Department as a Visiting Assistant Professor this fall. I'm sad to leave my wonderful colleagues and students at Bowdoin. But I am excited to be staying in Maine and I'm looking forward to this new venture!

The edited volume on the sublime that I contributed to is out! My chapter examines the Isthmus of Corinth, the Nero's plan to build a canal through it, and the cosmic implications of such a project. I'm happy to share a pre-proof draft with anyone who is interested!

I'm excited to announce that I'll be presenting at the 2024 PCA National Conference this March on a panel that examines monsters in popular culture. My paper explores the ways in which Godzilla has become a symbol of empowerment for marginalized groups.

Final proofs are in for my contribution to Sublime Cosmos in Graeco-Roman Literature and its Reception (Bloomsbury) which is due to come out in April 2024! My contribution explore references to Isthmus of Corinth in Latin imperial poetry and their connection to the canal project.
