Worth looking at this diagram of the structure of the NHS. Streeting saying there is huge duplication between NHSE and the DHSC, and NHSE and the regional teams (apparently not a controversial view) and the aim of abolishing NHSE is to eliminate that duplication and improve efficiency. 🤷🏻♂️

Being suspicious, I checked the videos of the press conf. Starmer was ducking the question as well as he could¸ not helped by Trump talking over the end of his reply, telling the reporter (and Starmer?) "That's enough".

We need immigration. Our populations will shrink dramatically without it, which will lead to collapse of our societies - there will be no one to do the work.
Our challenge is to ensure not too much, not too little, but always of the people with the right skills and ability to integrate.

A reminder when we hear people arguing about making more concessions to farmers because we need to be self-sufficient in food for food security reasons.
