Latest cross stitch finish - Positivity Blooms. This was a stitch-along project with Caterpillar Cross Stitch where we got a piece of the pattern each month until the entire design was revealed. Very satisfying to stitch. #crossstitchfun #positivitybloomssal

I've experimented with several different brands and prefer Mono Poly thread from Superior Threads on top and their 60-weight polyester thread in the bobbin.

Part 4 of this Positivity Blooms stitch-along with Caterpillar Cross Stitch is done! Looking forward to next month when we get the final piece of the project. I needed a little positivity!

Part 3 of Caterpillar Cross Stitch's stitch along. Each month we get another part of the design and will complete the project in May. This month we are focusing on JOY and STRENGTH.

I've been extremely sad this week after learning about Donna Jordan's passing. I learned to quilt from her cheerful and easy-to-follow videos. Such a great loss for her family and quilters all over the world. #jordanfabrics #donnajordan

Thanks goodness I live in California. With a federal government gone mad, I'm grateful to live in a safe state. We need to continue to stand up for what's right for all our citizens.

Love my block-of-the-month class at my local quilt shop - The Granary in Sunnyvale CA. This is our first block for the year. Rather than purchase new fabric, I decided to try using a bunch of batiks from my stash. I think it's going to look great!
