The only thing I can't tell is if that was put there as a canny move to purposefully function as online rage-bait to get free engagement / algorithm boosting for the film / trailer, or if the people cutting the trailer really were oblivious to the inevitable reaction from "those types"?

Facebook is flooding my feed with "progressive" pages (that I've never interacted with) - that have hundreds of thousands of followers - posting these images, and it blows my mind that all these people are treating this genAI shit like it's magic, and not RNG garbage taking a wild guess. 🤦

I've been saying the same for about... 20 years? Since whenever AvP was greenlit (at the expense of the pitched Scott/Cameron team-up fifth Alien film).

I like some of the cast, but this whole iteration sounds little better than any of the previous versions that Sony Pictures et al attempted to get rolling.
