I just used an all-gender bathroom and it dawned on me - I 100% don’t care about the gender of the people in the bathroom with me, but I 100% do care that everyone washes their hands.

The other day the barista ended our transaction by saying “Have a good one” in the same tone and inflection that I use when I ask a puppy, “Who’s a good boy?”
Mildly insulting, but it also left me wondering, “Am I the good boy?!”
