I live in a townhouse, so there's limited natural light, and 5 people are living in my household
+ I work from home and my husband does also, part time.
I didn't used to pay $300/month, but the rates keep going up and up.
Needless to say, we have all been spending much more time in the dark lately

Yeah. I know, Duke raised my rates for infrastructure improvements... My bill was up to $300 last month alone.
Yet, the CEO makes a base of 1.3 million and total compensation of 21 million in 2024, so that's why I'm not really trying to hear it. Maybe the rates don't really need to go up so much.

On a personal note, I used to love taking the train wherever, whenever, when I lived in NY. The sense of freedom and time to look out the window and contemplate my thoughts. And I am sad it's not really so much of a thing here in NC , but I digress.
