I knew I took photos! It was during the Long Night of the Museums so there were a lot of people there, as well as someone singing an opera aria in the foyer.

The pieces are suspended in a way that each piece is shown individually but in it's correct relative placement (for example, the wooden wheels are shown relative to where they would be located with an axel between the front two wheels and rear two wheels, however the pieces are not physically connected).

Post grooming. Apparently he was correct in his skepticism (though I have it on good authority that he seems overall happy to have lost half his weight in hair, even though it hasn't been as hot there since his grooming).

Due to a combination of factors, Charlie was desperately overdue for a grooming. He spent his first 2 weeks in Arizona wearing his Minnesota coat. Yet he was still deeply skeptical of my parents' plans for him the morning of his grooming....

And I taught my last class tonight, which was half class, half going away potluck. My students had a whole cake delivered (in addition to homemade food), the Wednesday night teacher had had them make cards for me, which they gave to me with a rose and a hug. So. Many. Tears.
