Also, as of today, every players are on the roster and the Habs respect the cap. But if Laine and Newhook comes back (out of IR) then they do not respect the 23 contracts limit.

And, as far as the cap for the playoff, you only have to respect it with who you dress for the game. So as long as your dressed players respect the cap, you are good. Even if you have 10 millions not dressed

Yeah I know, but you do not have to respect the 23 contracts limit after the trade deadline. If he comes back, and Laine too, before the trade deadline. Then the Habs will have to waive two players.

Hope he's not too much ahead tho, he has to come back after the trade deadline or we will have one more contract to get ride of :p

Sadly yeah, as of now I am convinced that if they keep it that way they won't even make the playoffs.

Really curious to see what's next for the team. One thing is sure, status quo is a bad idea imo.

They need to get ride of him, he just cannot do the job anymore. Sad since he seems like a good guy, but man the goalie has to make the stop.

To me, since I cannot change the past, I don't really care about every other picks in the 2022 drafts than the Habs drafts.
What I see is that we got 2 of the five best players in that draft, and maybe even the best three?? And this makes me happy.
I hope every other have success too. 🙂
