If air travel prices increase as a result of paying the flight attendants better (it's still nowhere close to FAIR), then blame the airlines. Air Canada made over $1.3 billion in net income (profit) last year. They can afford to pay full price for every second of work and still be ahead $1b.

One part about Carney's "owners of Canada" comment that I don't see getting talked about is that by phrasing it that way, Carney made it clear that the decision isn't even up to him, and if Trump even wants to think that "buying Canada" is possible, he would have to appeal to the Canadian people.

Honestly, I think Carney walked the tightrope well, between standing up to Trump but not aggravating him. I guess I have to admit that as much as I wanted Carney to be a bit more hardass, this was definitely the better approach.

Carney has a disadvantage in that Polly has spent years slowly rallying behind him while Justin sat on his hands. Polly benefits more from not being Justin than anything of his own merits. But Carney does get some time to show what he can do when he has the power to do so. (Con't)

For the record, I think it's perfectly fine for Disney to have an "openly Christian" character. What rubs the wrong way is that they did so at the expense of a trans storyline. They could have co-existed. Or they have a billion IPs they could have put the character in. This was a message. (con't)

My recurring dream where I completely forgot I was enrolled in a class until the final exams when I realize I have to figure out where I need to go and what I need to do to at least get a passing grade... I feel like Justin Trudeau did that in actual real life and as prime minister.

Just arrived to a screening of Reservoir Dogs. I can now finally say that I've seen all the Tarantino movies in the theatre. RD is the only one I didn't see in its first run. I'm also not counting True Romance because Tarantino didn't direct it, but I do hope to cross that off my list someday too.
