Trust shouldn’t expire on a timer. Most access decisions are still made at login and then left unattended. Even in “Zero Trust” environments. That’s the gap attackers live in. #zerotrust #cybersecurity

Helpdesk ➡️ Cybersecurity. If you want to get into cybersecurity, helpdesk is one of the best places to start. It forces you to understand how technology actually supports the business, not how it looks on a diagram.

Security strategy isn’t about protecting networks anymore. It’s about protecting access decisions, every single time they happen. The real question becomes, should this identity have access right now, from this device, to this resource, given what we know in this instant?

Remember a book by Jules Verne about Captain Nemo and Nautilus, well, AI is like that. It can compress enormous capability into systems controlled by very few people. It can be used to discover, accelerate, and connect. Technology amplifies intent, not virtue. #AI

Gartner just hit pause on AI-powered browsers. Their advice is pretty blunt: don’t roll these out broadly in your org yet. Just another reminder: convenience moves fast; security moves with intention. 👍 #cybersecurity

We’re having two different conversations.
Technical teams speak in controls, frameworks, and risk scores.
Executives speak in revenue impact, brand risk, and regulatory exposure.
If we want #security to matter, we need to make sure we’re speaking the same language.

I was researching how to track AI breaches and realized something: there is no single source, because AI incidents and AI breaches live in completely different worlds. You need more than one source. #AI #cybersecurity

What if security isn’t about tech walls at all, but about engineering trust through the stories we tell? That question has been chasing me from my early helpdesk grind to the work I do now as a security architect.

Gartner's Top 10 for 2026 isn't just about AI overload; it's about securing the stack before you scale, or risk it all. We need to trust the tech that will shape the next digital decade.

People think cybersecurity is one thing… It’s not.

Cybersecurity spans a web of interconnected functions from identity management, threat detection, and cloud security to governance, compliance, and incident response.

It’s a mindset, not a department.
