No safety concerns whatsoever.
The back end of a blue pickup truck seen from the side. In total, the tip of the chisel is maybe half a meter behind the rear bumper and at just about head height for someone driving a normal car. The pointed end of the chisel is painted a cheerful red.

Tfw you send so few letters that you're still trying to use up stamps from several postage increases ago.

If this keeps going, I'm going to need bigger envelopes.

Found this useful guide to Alt-text on tumblr and thought I'd share it here as well.

Has any AI company thought about maybe developing something useful, like an autofocus that can tell the difference between twigs and a bird?
A perfectly in-focus shot of some twigs with the first budding leaves of spring on them. There is also some sort of big grey bird, possibly a heron, inconsiderately cluttering up the background.

Following @neolithicsheep.bsky.social 's advice thread from last year, I have aquired some basic supplies to keep me in potable water and warm meals in case local infrastructure goes whoopsy for a bit.
Now to stick it all in a corner and hope I never actually need it...
The inside of a cardboard box. It contains a water filter, a packet of water disinfection tablets, a small camping stove with two gas cartridges and some freeze-dried food packs. All items are in their original packaging as they were newly bought.

On my way to work today, I found this rock next to a forest path. Not sure if it's a random piece of art or an offering to the forest spirits, but I added a pretty pink snail shell I had found a while ago, just to be safe.
