It isn’t a backlog, it was/is an investment in my present/future self. A mix of new and 20+ year old minis, mostly grimdark canibal space chickens. Including my beloved 2001 Gameday mini I got off eBay circa 2003. I’m reasonably sure I own every Kroot model ever cast, outside the Forgeworld stuff.

My first attempt at Anpan: Japanese bun filled with sweetened red bean paste. Only 2/8 were perfect, the rest had leakage or were full on disasters which I was able to hide on camera.

Texas snow day dinner: Korean fried chicken (scratch) and kimchi (store bought). Need to try some homemade kimchi, but one step at a time. This on is working it’s way into the repertoire. Gochujang will change your life.

@frameshift.bsky.social reminded me there was a new set of Kroot models for Warhammer 40k. Just picked them up, and while tracking down the old minis to ensure my paint scheme matches, I figured I have the house to myself for the weekend, why not take inventory of 20+ years of building and painting.
