I agree with everything you say. I don’t know how many people listen to “The Wall” completely through multiple times, but it’s significantly less than number of albums sold.

YES! For 50 years my sanity has been questioned by family, friends, and thanks to the internet, complete strangers, but I do not get Pink Floyd. At all. I will respect their musicianship and place in rock history, but never listen to them.

If you think that’s why people voted for dictatorship, I dunno what to tell you. There’s plenty of Democratic error and complicity that led to this, but Beyoncé isn’t high on the list of why we won’t be a democracy.

A solid majority of white people will only vote for what maintains the white privilege status quo. Changing demographics was going to eliminate that, so democracy doesn’t work for that group anymore. Hence Trump

Not my job. If it was, I’d try something other than wringing my hands and wondering what’s wrong with me. Majority of whites have not voted for the Democratic candidate since 1964. Voting Rights Act-1965. It’s racism.

Yes! There is nothing to “figure out”. It’s baked into the psychology of this country and won’t be eradicated by mediation or accommodation. It simply must be defeated.

I kinda thought Pitt was a paper tiger. The AFC North is so weird; it’s like each of the teams have the number of one of the other teams in the division and beat them no matter what.

I always imagine the poster I’m replying to is sitting in front of me and I’m looking them in the eyes. It doesn’t always keep the snark down, but I’m proud to say that even on that other cesspool site, I never resorted to name calling or personal attack. I don’t ever remember you doing that.
