The thing is, nearly all of the so-called illegals are working and/or raising children, and therefore should have a legal status and be protected by law. The reason they don't is because Republicans won't allow it - even though it's mostly Republicans who employ them. It's human exploitation.

A hallmark of Russian communications throughout the Cold War was the unceasing lies. If you believed the lies you became their useful idiot. If you didn't believe the lies they hurled insults and more lies. If this seems familiar, it's because Trump and MAGA are now using the Russian playbook.

The big difference is that Chamberlain was in a very difficult situation. He knew that war was coming, but he also knew that Great Britain was not ready. Trump is simply a traitor, and what he's doing to Ukraine he is also doing to us.

Working people have always had to choose between their bosses and their political leaders. The bosses also try to be political leaders of course, and the problem for working people is that for the last several decades there have been no political leaders that actually represent working people.

Americans generally don't like socialism. That's because for over a century we have allowed the political right to define socialism. The truth is that the western nations, including the US, are the best places to for most to live and precisely to the extent that they have adopted socialist ideas.

My advice to holiday travelers is, don't. This is the guy in charge of travel safety and he is worse than clueless.

This is propaganda. They send an offer to Ukraine that they know must be refused, then blame Ukraine for anything that happens from now on. Putin and Trump are totalitarian assholes. Nothing either of them says should be believed. Europe and Ukraine must prepare for war with Russia

Americans across the country are beginning to understand that these invasions have little to do with illegal immigration and everything to do with Trump building a private army to deploy against any and all of his "enemies".

If the bailout goes primarily to corporate agriculture they will use it to buy up even more family farms at auction. So means test it.

True, the citizens have no legal standing to force a sale. But citizens can take action to make ownership of the station unprofitable and/or untenable. Wouldn't work in every locale, of course.
