Returns from injury for our captain and a certain Mr Faletau. Plenty of others back in after being rested recently as well. Bowen following in Stef Emanuel's footsteps from last week by making his debut.

Didn't get the win yesterday (which was always unlikely) but plenty of positives to take away from the game (Emanuel not looking out of place being especially good to see) and the Lyon fans were brilliant. Lovely bunch of people.

Now that the sideshow that is the Welsh national side is over and done with until the end of the January it's back to the proper rugby this weekend. Let's go!

Cardiff team to take on the Dragons in the second match of the day on Saturday. Several players straight back in after being away with Wales and the return of Josh Adams! Seb has also recovered from injury and is among the replacements.

To say it's going to be a difficult game on Saturday would be a massive understatement but I have no doubt the players will give it their all so let's get behind them, it's not their fault they've been let down by an incompetent WRU and coach.

I don't overly mind the changes, two enforced through injury and I think Botham and Morgan should go well in the backrow.

I am surprised he's not used either of the Fiji or Australia games to cap Freddie Thomas though, surely the poor lad won't be making his Test Debut against the Boks! 😂

An away win against Tonga in the summer (where they also ran Samoa close) and now they've beaten Uruguay.

Add to that their U20's team retaining their place in the World Rugby U20 Championship earlier this year and Spanish rugby definitely seems to be on the rise.

Pretty happy with that team overall. Some question marks over whether Griffin has played enough minutes this season to justify starting but we'll see how he goes.

A potentially very exciting backline if our pack can give them the platform.
