Kelly avoided photos like the plague.

Kelly wished she looked better in photos, but every photo she had of herself either looked like a mugshot or she was the most depressed, angry person ever…Kelly hated photos of herself.

And the number one thing I’ve learned doing art is never to listen to other artists or people in general; their advice is always bad. Look for the ones that are doing and not saying.

I think throwing your hat in the ring and knowing what your art is about and saying it isn’t a bad thing is a good thing. The romantic way I’ll leave it up to the viewer is for the lazy and the super rich.

Some series are harder for me to figure out what I am going on about, but I’m having a good time, so I’ll give it a go. I just don’t want to be one of those artists that says the viewer will figure it out.

For me, having some time between making the art and showing the art is something I need. If I were just making and then showing, I wouldn’t have the time to figure out what the hell I’m going on about.

In the top right corner is a woman’s ear with multiple piercings. They aren’t fancy piercings or anything, but I just felt that the ear needed something. In hindsight, I should have done a fancier ear clasp, but I didn’t know about those then, so simple piercings it is.

One of the goals with this series was to add everything I was thinking about at the time and art series I worked on into one art series. And this is what I got. I’m happy with this piece and the series, and that’s the bar I go by.

This has a lot going on from scribbles to a high heel, and there’s also an outline that is very hard to see of two my Mars vehicles.

But moving was too much work, and Kelly was too lazy.

Kelly looked at the landscape and then looked out the gallery window where it was snowing.Kelly wished she lived wherever the landscape was.

Kelly just wanted to go home. She sighed and walked onto the next one.

Kelly thought that the art pieces with just colors were some of the laziest things ever. (She never looked up anything about the history of them because she was too lazy for that.)
