Just the fact that Russian state media was present and the AP & Reuters were not, makes it seem as if it was a planned ambush to appease their dear leader, Putin. In normal circumstances, this meeting would not have been broadcast.

Since he doesn't know the difference between seeking asylum and being in an asylum, this shouldn't be a surprise.

Yes, it will be painful for many, especially for his supporters, but maybe it will be the wake-up call they missed. It is also pain the media they consume can't make go away.
