I recently re-read this issue after not having read it since junior high in 1979 and it was one of the best comics I’ve ever read. Mantlo wrote a terrific script and Don Newton’s art was spectacular. I’ll take this kind of comic over any of the crap being released from Marvel or DC today. Must read!
