On Friday night we got the bad news from the vet that Big Mac wouldn’t make it. It was time to go.

Alba wasn't the only dog he looked after.

I found little Butterscotch abandoned in a temple in Thailand. She was barely surviving.

Look at her now getting ready to travel to Scotland soon 😍

Yesterday Alba passed away.

My dog Hank also only knew her for 2 weeks but he made her life so much better as her best friend.

In the end it all happened very quick. Alba told me it was time. I tried to make her last day as perfect as possible for her as her little body had given up.

She had a wonderful send off and only knew love

Saw someone upbraiding someone else for having a hobby while the world is on fire, and, my friends:

1. The world is ever on fire, this is today's conflagration;

2. If you don't find time for rest and joy the fire will consume you;

3. Don't let people shame you for being an entire human.
