This is a really fascinating read! It's sort of sad that the shift from investigative reporting to entertainment-as-identity has reshaped not just what we watch but how we think, vote, and trust. Reality TV blurred the line between performance and politics.

Elected officials lending credibility to white nationalist rhetoric isn’t just dangerous. It should be disqualifying. This isn’t about free speech. It’s about platforming hate under the banner of legitimacy.

Thanks for sharing this, Sarah! When expertise is erased under the guise of “reform,” it’s a personnel decision *and* a political signal. Stripping review boards of women and people of color sends a clear message about whose knowledge is valued & whose isn’t. This is institutional regression.
