I pull my quilt over my head, squeezing my eyes shut and breathing through my nose as the pressure builds. When the ghost coalesces, my ears pop, but everything stills. The bed squeaks as she sits, and I uncover my head. She still smells of lavender and talc. "Hello grandma", I smile #writeCBC

Not yet, end of this draft I'll be getting it done. I've had 'insert x scene here' bits to fill haha

Yes it is. I've reached the point of fixing plot holes, but can't seem to feel sure if the scenes/chapters I'm adding are over-complicating things or not. Glad to hear the frustration of revising isn't only me! 😆

Don't worry, I will finish it. It just feels all a-tangle at the moment and a great pile of crap. Think it's just got to that stage of revision 🤣

If you enjoyed it, it wasn't wrong, especially if you can stop before you burn out. But next time, to stop pushing on, maybe try and ensure you make some time for yourself. Ask yourself is it so important that it has to be done right now, or can you do something for yourself instead that brings joy

I've never used google docs specifically, but have tried dictation before. If you have a document itself open and are typing in that, there is usually a tool in the programme itself for dictation/voice typing. I found this online if you haven't already tried it support.google.com/docs/answer/...
Type & edit with your voice - Google Docs Editors Help
You can use your voice to type and edit your document in Google Docs and your speaker notes and captions in Google Slides. This feature works with the latest versions of: Chrome Edge Safari

Would love to dive into Welsh folklore a lot more. Always been interested and struggled to find purely welsh mythology/folklore sources. May have to pay your library a visit if I ever get that way!
