I'm finally committing and switching from Chrome to Safari as my default browser.

The older I get the more I realize the benefits of using built in tools that are the same across all my devices. The ecosystem holds so many benefits.

It's also not like Safari isn't a good browser.

Updated the cockpit.

- Replaced MagSafe stand with a mount on the back of my monitor
- Add F1 car I built last weekend

I'm super picky about my desk setup and this honestly feels a little cluttered for me, but going to stick with it for a week and see how I feel.

I have some direction on where I want to take the app I am working on visually.

Design is always the part I get hung up on. Idea in my head, but getting it out is really tough for me.

Got through all functionality implementation and testing in the remedies journal app I am working on.

That just leaves UI. Going for simple, but with some personality. Any SwiftUI apps that you really like the vibe of? I'm looking for inspiration.

Decided to circle back and work to bring the remedies tracker app I have mostly built into the mix. Would love to get it launched by the end of this month.

Functionality wise its mostly complete. UI and testing are what is left.

We don't actively market our agencies, but I built a tool this week for cold email outreach.

Marketron lets us create campaigns, track stats, and have all conversations in one place.

This will be a great way to passively get our agencies in front of potential clients.

A little fun this morning. Might be desk worthy.

Small book haul yesterday. I haven't read Stephen King before, but looking forward to it.

Watch It! Got approved and is available to update in the App Store.

And here we go…

Big update for Watch It! was just submitted to Apple for review.

List sharing is here and the last big feature from the original idea of the app. I know for me this turns the app from a somewhat helpful app to exactly what me and my wife needed.

🤞 for a speed approval!

Feeling more confident in Ai to work within multiple codebases and execute tasks for me.

Spending some time making some updates to Watch It!. Getting error scenarios handled and plan on adding a big new feature for sharing lists.

We are getting serious about buying a new house so I created a spreadsheet to help us see different scenarios for a new home and how it impacts our budget.

It works, but decided to vibe code an app. Going to spend about an hour on this and see what I get - feeling confident.

A huge benefit that AI coding tools has given me specifically is the ability to say yes to almost anything when it comes to client requests.

Being able to have confidence in the current code base has brought in billable hours as well as delivering more for our clients.

I didn't finish the last 2 books that I started. When this happens I tend to go back to something familiar.

Read through Sunrise on the Reaping because I am a big Hunger Games fan and liked it. Haven't read the original trilogy of books so I am working my way through those.

Creating the videos to show off our work on our new app development agency site.

We did this for our web development agency site and I think the videos work better than just screenshots.

All the way through Drive to Survive. A fantastic way to get the most recent storylines for a new sport you are getting into.

I wish Supercross had something like this to help bring in new fans.

We launched a new website for our web development agency (www.af.works) a couple weeks ago and now we're working on one for our app focused agency.

I'm super stoked on it 😂

I kicked off September by saying: no side projects this month. Just focus on client work.

Less on my plate, right?

I decided to switch up my home screen setup with iOS 26. Went with a lighter background and darker icons.

Honestly surprised how much I like it. I always thought the dark icons looked dumb, but I was wrong.

Always a plus when I get Godzilla involved 🦖

I talked about how launch lists can have long waitlists in a previous video. Well Indie Buckets got listed today on Tiny Startups.

Even though it took 4 months to get listed it's nice to have another opportunity to launch the product 😃

Got some good training in today.

Fairly consistent around that 2s mark from holster draw to shot on target.

Hit my goal for the month and extending my streak in Train Factor now that I am back to training consistently.
