Salem our studio cat from a few years ago. He used to sun himself at the entry skylight at the top of the stairs. He was bonkers. He would suddenly jump up in the air with all fours. There were 22 artists in this old turn of the century building. early 2000's. The real estate agents came. The end.

It's been a 3 1/2 year journey, but's it's finally done. My first novel manuscript. Now it goes to alpha and beta readers then editor. Image below in Not the cover. It's a painting I did a few months ago but gives clue as to content.

Some progress today. Need to wait 3 days to continue, oil on canvas. Struggling to find my voice again after a solo show last summer. My mind is mush, so to keep busy, right now I'm doing flowers.

Studio day today: I'm calling this one: " I Forgot my Glasses Today." and yes I did forget them. But didn't want to drive the 5 k to go home and get them. Not too bad for an under layer and half blind artist.

This is the front of the Fire Hall that I used to share basement studio with 6 other artists. It was built in the early 1900s.

Just finished this one today at my studio. It needed some editing, took out some blossoms and added more darks.

Started a new work today, I'm not sure where it will take me, but I let my brush and brain do the work. Some kind of floral, but haven't decided on the colours yet. Thinking yellow, white?
