Helping pick up trash today at Highbridge Park in the rain. It was still a lovely walk, and we filled up two trash bags.

I've been invited to read at an incredible local restaurant/bar called The Bad Seed. It once was a library, and is reportedly haunted (ive been there a few times and have not seen a ghost, alas). Anyway, if you're in Spokane on the 19th, drop on by!

I gotta work on my word spacing, but it's only my second protest sign so I'll cut myself some slack.

1976 - the film set in Borrego Springs, California. My dad worked with the guy who owned the property they filmed on. It's only in the beginning of the movie. Damnation Alley was released in 1977. But a tiny movie called Star Wars eclipsed it - and was a thousand times a better movie. 😄

A cool new bookstore/cafe has a shelf dedicated to local authors and I'm honored to have a book displayed on it. If you're ever in Spokane, please visit Jupiter's Eye on west 1st. It's a fabulous cafe and has been packed since it opened. The staff clearly has a love of books!

Found this little guy while cleaning. It doesn't look special, but I have fond memories of my youngest daughter, about 7, laughing when she would miss the basket, then tell the ball, "Wise guy, huh? Got a little somethin' for ya!" and then give it tiny punch. Think she watched a lot of Animaniacs...

This is a drawing I did about 30 years ago. It was going to be part of a series of pulp characters, but I abandoned the idea. A co-worker modeled for me.
