Life long liberal. I’ve been a true blue democrat since I first voted in 1972. Yes I’m an old fart.
No you just use the front door handle just like everyone else. The hidden release is for the back doors

I ordered a Cybertruck 5 years ago and recently cancelled my order after Elon went off the deep end. Consider this though, the truck is battery powered and in my case it would be recharged by my solar. How cleaver it is to get a MAGA nut job to drive an EV thinking they own the libs.

The doors don’t lock. This is not true the police got help from Tesla to open the glove box which is where the SD card is kept that helped them identify the driver

For the rear doors. The front doors have a door handle that looks like most typical handles and it’s very obvious
January 2, 2025 at 4:50 AM
It’s because they unlocked the glove o to get at the SDcard to track down the identification of the driver

Same as a Tesla

It’s not hidden

Actually Tesla can unlock any vehicle remotely. So can GM if you pay for their service. This whole chain is based on the false assumption that a Tesla Locks when in an accident. This is not true, the car unlocks and calls emergency services. Tesla unlocked the glove box to get at the SD card.

It’s not hidden. It’s right we’re it belongs and the Tesla service people and videos teach drivers how to use the electric push button

A literal bomb went off in the Cybertruck at the Trump tower and reports are that the battery pack didn’t catch fire. None of the windows of the building were even damaged because of the rugged build of the truck.

There is a manual door opener just like most cars. The people in the crash didn’t use the manual release because typically the electric door open button is used so maybe in their panic they forgot
January 2, 2025 at 4:31 AM
No the SD card if locked in the glove compartment which they unlocked.

I never departed from X and I don’t see much difference between the two platforms because I only view postings of people I follow. Most people I follow here are also still on X.

Cost of a Tesla with the $7500 tax credit is about the same as a gas car, Tesla burst into flames about 1/50 as often as a gas car. Most EV batteries will last the life of the car or around 300,000 miles.

Doors also open mechanically with a handle just like any other car. I own a model Y

If you have FSD then the car will sense other cars before the driver does and take evasive action to avoid an accident. I can attest to the car avoiding a crash before I saw what was happening.

If you are driving a Tesla you’ll find out that it will alert you if you drift out of your lane or get close to the car in front. If you have Tesla insurance you get strikes for bad driving behavior like high speed turns, tailgating or hardbraking.

I drive a Model Y and they are dangerous due to their instant acceleration. So it comes down to bad drivers doing stupid things and not the car. There are many reports of drivers wrapping the car around a tree once they lost control.
